Privacy policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
Short version: GoodToSwim.com has no accounts, does not save what you type into the calculators, shows no ads yet and uses no analytics or tracking. We collect as little as possible.
Who we are
GoodToSwim.com is an independent website operated from Sweden. For anything about this policy or your data, email hello@goodtoswim.com.
What we collect
Calculator inputs. The calculators run in your browser. What you type is not sent to us and is not stored on your device; it is gone when you close or reload the page.
Hosting and security logs. The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so it can deliver the site and protect it against abuse.
Email. If you email us, we keep your message and email address only as long as needed to reply and to handle any correction you sent. For privacy requests we keep a short record that the request was handled for as long as we need to show that we complied.
There are no ads, no analytics and no third-party scripts on the site at the moment. We do not have user accounts and we do not sell personal data.
Why we process it
We process hosting and security data on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website. For email, we process your data to answer you.
Service providers and transfers
Cloudflare, Inc. acts as our hosting provider and may process data outside the UK and the EU/EEA, including in the United States, under its own safeguards such as standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email us at the address above. You can also complain to our supervisory authority, the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
Changes
We plan to fund the site with display ads later. Before any ads go live we will update this page and the cookie policy, and ask for consent where the law requires it.
